Russell is heading into his fourth and final year at UW.  He has completed a BFA in Lighting Design and is now working on the completion of a Business minor.  Russell comes to Wyoming from northwest of Chicago.

Nicole Watts
(Secretary)

Nicole is a senior working toward a BFA in Theatre with an emphasis on Make-Up and Costuming.  She is also working towards ar minor in Art.   A Laramie native, she hopes to graduate (eventually) and pursue a career in costume design for theatre or special effects make-up for movies.

Chelsey is currently a Junior working towards a BA in Theatre.  This past year she was in Picasso at the Lapin Agile as Germaine,the Splash Scene at ACTF, a Historical Mouse in Nutcracker, and the Sexy Nurse in Dead Man Walking.  She loves SHARKS,sewing, being a Crafty Byrd, pie, and Cal.

As a senior at UW, Danielle is completing a BA in Theatre with an emphasis in Stage Management, as well as a minor in French (she should also mention that she is a member of the UW Honors Program...).  A busy stage manager, D's main season credits include "A Christmas Carol," "The Nutcracker," "...the body through which the dream flows...," and "Uncle Vanya."  She is also active in second season events, stage managing last spring's "Shorts by Skirts," this summer's "Vertical Dance at Vedauwoo" show, and this fall's "Relay Plays."  In her off time, D likes to sleep, snooze, and take naps.  A Montana native, she has many interests including traveling, watching movies, learning new things, and hanging out with her fabulous friends.  She is a card-carrying member of the United States Institute for Theatre Technology (USITT) and has big plans for the future.  D takes pride in knowing everyone in the department, so if you don't know her, introduce yourself!

Rachel Knutson
(Dance Representative)

Rachel is currently a junior at UW working on a degree in journalism with a dance minor. She has danced for the past 18 years. At UW, performance credits include "collected dances parts one and two" as well as "The Nutcracker". Rachel spent Spring semester 2007 studying and dancing in London, England. She is originally from Pierre, South Dakota. Rachel enjoys dancing (anytime/anywhere), reading, scrapbooking, watching all sports (especially soccer "English football" and hockey), and hanging out with friends! She looks forward to acting as Dance Rep. for ASOPA and would love to answer any questions that anyone may have!

Anna is a non-traditional student who is somewhere between her junior and senior years in completing a BFA with an emphasis in Playwriting and Directing.  Her UW credits include PROOF (Claire), THE WOMEN OF LOCKERBIE (Assistant Director/Dramaturg), SHORTS BY SKIRTS(Director), A CHRISTMAS CAROL (Dramaturg), LOVE'S LABOURS LOST(Text Assistant), and BOOK OF DAYS (Martha).  In addition to being a founding ensemble member of the Dallas-based Our Endeavors Theatre Collective, her professional acting credits include productions with Shakespeare & Company, Dallas Shakespeare Festival, Teatro Libertad, Vortex Repertory Co., and Wingspan Theatre.  Anna has also worked as a solo artist, producer, and director.   She recently finished a new one act play, THE LONELIEST ROAD IN AMERICA, which will be presented at UW as part of the 2006 Student Written One Act Festival.  Anna is the proud parent of the ASOPA canine mascot, the adorable Jackie O.

 

 

 

Jackie O
(Mascot)

A true adventurer at heart, Jackie O. has traveled the globe, living in both North and South America, and Europe.  She landed in Laramie where she has lived and worked for the past 3 years.  Her UW credits include The Playwriting Majors (mascot) and ASOPA (mascot).  She recently recieved the "Man's Best Friend" Golden Duck Award at the 2006 ASOPA Dram Prom.  Having spent her formative years in French Guiana, Jackie is a native French speaker.  She loves bacon, mauling stuffed animals, and long, leash-less walks in the woods.
